Principles of electrical transport. Lorentz force, electrical field, current, Ohm´s law. 2. Measurement of resistivity, Points methods, Van der Pauw´s method, measurement of wires. 3. Measurement of inhomogenious semiconductors. Depth profiles, SIMS, spreading resistance. 4. Contactless high frequency measurement of resistivity. Maxwell´s eqautions. 5. Measurement of the electrical and the magnetical field. Capacity and inductivity. 6. The Hall effect. Measurement of mobility and carrier concentration.7. Asessing the semiconductor type. 8. Measurement of the temperature. Therocouples, thermistor, radiation meters. 9. Measurement of the life time of semiconductors. 10. Measurement of diodes, rectifyers, photodiodes, LED and LASERs. 11. Measurement of transistors, bipolar and unipolar devices, HEMT. 12. Operational amplifiers, high power devices, high frequency devices.
