Synopsis:

The course deals with technical and organisational principles and methodical instructions for manufacturing processes and systems design.

Requirements:

Knowledge based on previous technology seminars.

Syllabus of lectures:

1. Production and process design as an integrated system of a process planning.

2. Design and technology analysis process, documents, an information flow and data files.

3. Forms of design and technological standardization.

4. Rotational parts manufacturing.

5. Non-rotational parts manufacturing.

6. Process planning of assembly.

7. Work time classification and measurement.

8. Criteria and methods for evaluation of variant procedures and technological projects.

9. Principles of process planning systems.

10. Capacity calculations.

11. Layout planning, plant engineering.

12. Ergonomics - human factors engineering.

13. Fundamentals of work rationalisation.
