Synopsis:

The objective is to teach the students to apply the basic terms of Economics also needed for related economic subjects. The technicians and managers have to understand contents and structure of economics in connection to the technical subjects. The course focuses on the important economic problems in respect to prices, wages, profits.

Requirements:

Active participation in exercises, preparing and presentation topics, submission of term (semester) work in time and mistake-free.

Syllabus of lectures:

Introduction to the economics and its characteristic. Production factors and their characteristics. Forms of economy development. Factors of national economy. Cycle of value in economy. Aggregates of national economy and relationship between them. Gross national product balance. Classic economic theory. Microeconomic theory and its parts and content. Theory of consumer and the concept of utility. Cost analysis and cost-revenue models. Models of market situations.
