Lift characteristics of an airplane and its contributing parts (wing, fuselage, tail units, high lift devices). Drag characteristics of airplanes and their specific components. Airplane polar curve. Moment characteristics of airplanes (static stability, neutral point). Characteristics of dynamic stability. Compressibility effects on aerodynamics characteristics of airplanes. Stick forces. Design of tail units.
