Understanding standard speech about familiar topics, that a students comes across at work, at school, during free time, and talking about these topics. Ability to describe experiences and events, explain one´s opinions and plans. Reading and understanding general and technical texts.

Grammar: passive, subjunctive of preterite and plusquampreterite, periphrastic expressions with „wuerde“, shortening sentences with „dass“, „damit“, „ohne zu“, „statt zu“, present and past participle in attribute

Conversational topics: study stay abroad, travelling, business trip, holiday

Technical language: introduction into technical terminology, basic manufacturing processes
