Synopsis:

Care for Quality in companies and contract relations in accordance with the standards ISO 9000 and principles TQM. Legal aspects (CzR, EU) and problem of asessment of conformity. Quality management and its implementation tools in companies (policies, planning, control, assurance and improvement of quality), quality management system, quality information system. Methods and procedures of analysis, control and improvement of product-, proceses- and activities quality: 7 clasical analysis method (Pareto analysis etc.), statistical process analysis and control (SPC), qualitative methods (analysis of qualitative data), benchmarking, brainstorming, QFD, FMEA, DOE and futher methods. Conditions of succesful implementation, computer aid. Metrology, testing, certification.

Requirements:
Syllabus of lectures:

1. Basic terms, quality development. Quality of products, processes and organizations. Statistic basic methods of the quality control analyses.

2. Tool to analyse and control quality: basic essentials, conditions of successful application (principle PDCA etc.), computer support. Overview and segmenting. Controls and 7 basic (classic) tools of the analyses: analysis of value distribution - histograms, Pareto analysis, Analysis cause - consequence, Analysis of the stochastic dependence etc. - without SPC.

3. Statistic analysis and processes control - method SPC: statistic stability and technical process capability, control chart due measuring and comparing, capability process index (CPI). Controls based on principle of the statistic takeover (principle, use methods).

4. Qualitative analyses methods (diagram affinity, evolutional and tree diagram, benchmarking, brainstorming), overview of selected complex methods (QFD, FMEA, DOE). Principle of the FMEA method.

5. Branch of experiments, certifications, accreditation, agreement officiating. Legal aspects (ČR, EU) responsibility to quality, safety, dependability. Problems of the agreement officiating with requirements.

Metrology (legal, operating), its content, basic principles of assert in organizations, metrological confirm system, gauge sequences etc.

Principle methods QFD (Quality Function Deployment) and DOE Design Of Experiment).

6. Quality system management and its application in organizations due standards ISO 9000 and principles of TQM (policy, objective, planning, control, assurance, improvement), documentation. Information systems for quality. Quality assurance, quality audit, certifications. Present trends in branch of quality.
