Synopsis:

Subject deals with concurrent processing and with network cooperation using PC class computers, with special respect to Delphi programming.

Topics: Dynamically linked libraries DLL. Parallel processing and synchronization. Technology DDE. Concept of interfaces and INTERFACE language construct. Technologies OLE, COM, AUTOMATION and ACTIVEX. Principles of DCOM and interface iDispatch. Database systems, Delphi database components, using SQL language. Programming support for teamwork.

Requirements:

Students are expected to master knowledge of all items read in lectures.

Students will be submitted 3 practical excercises to solve during.
