Synopsis:

Control systems (PLC, industrial PC, inteligent controller), supervisory control and visualization: SCADA/HMI systems (operator panels, software systems for visualization and technological process data acquisition), communication possibilities for various levels of control. Totally integrated automation (TIA) - unifying of the means for processes and machines control. Microsystems, applications and programming. Programming according to the IEC 1131-3 standard, programming languages. Case studies and examples of various systems contol in industry including visualization.

Syllabus of lectures:

1.Systems of Automatic Control - structure, instrumentation.

2.Methodology for determining the structure of mathematic model parameters based on the measurement of response.

3.More complicated control loops and two-parameter control, the notation for drawing diagram of analogous and discreet control systems.

4.Application of pneumatic means to control of single and double actuating pneumatic cylinder

5.Typical versions of different solutions to control of multiple double actuating pneumatic cylinders , step diagram and the diagram of control commands, introducing the term „Phase“.

6.Implementation of automaton - pneumatic and relay mode of control

7.Automatic control systems - industrial applications examples. Hierarchical, distributed control systems, stand alone machine control. Fundamentals, technical components used and their features.

8.Pneumatic control systems, electropneumatic kontrol systéme, PLC systéme, inteligent pneumatic systems, systems with intelligent controllers and systéme with industrial PCs - features and applications areas.

9.Totally integrated automation (TIA) - unifiing of means for process and machines control. Supervisity kontrol: SCADA/HMI systéme (operator panels, software systéme for visualization and process data acquisition), communication on various levels of control

10.Microsystems, applications and programming. Software tools for microsystems programming. Metodology of microsystems programming. Standard function, specific functions. Applications examples.

11.Programmable logic controller, families of PLCs, function of PLC. HW structure of PLC, function modes. Application examples. SW systéme for PLCs.

12.PLCs programming according to the standards DIN 19239 and IEC 1131-3, programming languages LD, FBD, IL,ST,SFC -1.part.

13.PLCs programming according to the standards DIN 19239 and IEC 1131-3, programming languages LD, FBD, IL,ST,SFC -2.part.

14.Inteligent pneumatic systems, pneumatic positioning systéme. Programming and communication possibilities.

Syllabus of tutorials:

1.Software applications to estimation of parameters of an a-priory chosen industrial process from obtained sets of measured data.

2.Practical implementation of basic control loops with single and double actuating pneumatic cylinders.

3.The control of two and more actuating cylinders, implementation of a pneumatic automaton.

4.Microsystems - direct programming of standard functions

5.Metodology of programming according the standard DIN 19239 and application for the microsystems.

6.Microsystems - direct programming of specific functions. Programming in LOGOSoft Komfort on PC.

7.Case study - visualization and supervisity control - examples at laboratory tasks.
