Semiconductors, PN junction, diodes, bipolar transistors, unipolar

transistors, power amplifiers, small signal amplifiers, principles,

switching properties. Power amplifier classes. Multilayer switching

devices. Optoelectronics: sources, detectors, lasers. Thermistor,

posistor, Hall devices. Power triode, klystron, magnetron, TWT.

2. Semiconductors, PN diode, Zener and avalanche effects

3. Special diodes (Schottky, tunnel, varicap). Diode applications

4. Bipolar transistors: principles, small signal amplifiers

5. Bipolar transistors: power amplifiers, switching properties

6. Unipolar transistors: principles, small signal amplifiers

7. Unipolar transistors: power amplifiers, switchimg properties

8. Power amplifier classes, efficiency, matching,HF amplifiers

9. Multilayer switching devices: 4-layer diode, thyristor, triac

10. Opto-electronics: sources and detectors of radiation, lasers

11. Temperature controlled devices thermistor. posistor, applic.

12. Mag. field controlled devices: Hall effect, magnetodiode

13. Vacuum devices: power triode, klystron, magnetron. TWT

14. Passive electronic components: properties, tolerances
