Synopsis:

Optimal control systems - structural and parametric optimization formulation in state space, basic mathematical approaches to the role of quadratic, and stepwise time-optimal control, switching, and circuit implementation of optimal management, mediated status. Adaptive and autoset circuits. Application of computer support resources. The program MATLAB, offering Toolbox CONTROL practical mastery of certain tasks by means of the Automatic Control. (For the closed study branch Automatic Control and Computer Engineering)

Principles of automatic control, terminology, tasks.

Control system as a tool for designing, modelling, investigating real control circuits.

Block schemes.

Controlled processes, description, modelling, ways of control. Controller selection and its parameter setting from the viewpoint stability and control quality. ^

Controllers operating continuously and discreetly in time - comparison, special features. Advanced control problems.

All demonstrated by examples continuously processed in MATLAB/Simulink program.
