Individual groups of new engineering structural materials are characterized in the course „Advanced Materials“. Besides the development and physical fundamentals of these materials, new most frequently used types of materials are presented with their basic characteristics and mechanical properties. Potential technological processing, applicability in designing and systems of their designation are presented.
